Put THE SILO on your home screen

One minute, no app store. THE SILO runs in your browser; add it to your home screen once and it opens like any other app and keeps itself up to date. Afrikaans hieronder.

How to add THE SILO to your home screen

Open app.derivative.co.za on the device you want it on, then follow the steps for that device. You only do this once.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open app.derivative.co.za in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow — in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add. THE SILO icon appears on your home screen.

Using Chrome on an iPhone? Tap the Share icon in the address bar at the top instead, then follow steps 3 and 4.

Android phones

  1. Open app.derivative.co.za in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three dots at the top right.
  3. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app, whichever your phone shows.
  4. Tap Install or Add. THE SILO icon appears on your home screen.

Samsung Internet: tap the menu (three lines) at the bottom right, then Add page to, then Home screen.

Computer (Windows or Mac)

  1. Open app.derivative.co.za in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar. If you do not see it, open the browser menu and look for Install.
  3. Click Install. THE SILO opens in its own window and sits with your other programs.

Then log in. Tap the icon, enter your registered phone number, and type in the one-time PIN that arrives on WhatsApp. There is no password to remember.

Sit THE SILO op jou tuisskerm

THE SILO werk in jou foon of rekenaar se blaaier, so daar is niks om van ’n app-winkel af te laai nie. Maak app.derivative.co.za oop op die toestel waar jy dit wil hê en volg die stappe vir daardie toestel. Jy doen dit net een keer.

iPhone en iPad

  1. Maak app.derivative.co.za in Safari oop.
  2. Tik op die Deel-knoppie — die vierkant met ’n pyltjie — in die balk heel onder op die skerm.
  3. Rollees af en tik op Add to Home Screen (Voeg by Tuisskerm).
  4. Tik op Add (Voeg by). Die THE SILO-ikoon verskyn op jou tuisskerm.

Gebruik jy Chrome op ’n iPhone? Tik eerder op die Deel-ikoon in die adresbalk bo-aan, en volg dan stappe 3 en 4.

Android-fone

  1. Maak app.derivative.co.za in Chrome oop.
  2. Tik op die drie kolletjies regs bo.
  3. Tik op Add to Home screen (Voeg by tuisskerm) of Install app (Installeer program), watter een jou foon ook al wys.
  4. Tik op Install (Installeer) of Add (Voeg by). Die THE SILO-ikoon verskyn op jou tuisskerm.

Samsung Internet: tik op die kieslys (drie strepies) regs onder, dan Add page to, dan Home screen.

Rekenaar (Windows of Mac)

  1. Maak app.derivative.co.za in Chrome of Edge oop.
  2. Klik op die installeer-ikoon regs aan die einde van die adresbalk. Sien jy dit nie, maak die blaaier se kieslys oop en soek Install.
  3. Klik op Install. THE SILO maak in sy eie venster oop en staan saam met jou ander programme.

Meld dan aan. Tik op die ikoon, sleutel jou geregistreerde foonnommer in, en tik die eenmalige PIN in wat op WhatsApp aankom. Daar is geen wagwoord om te onthou nie.
